Frequently asked questions

Common questions about how Accrediguide works and what to expect.

What does Accrediguide do?

Accrediguide provides a shared reference for requirements, evidence, and readiness so teams can prepare for inspections or accreditation surveys with clarity and confidence.

Who is Accrediguide for?

Anyone responsible for compliance readiness, whether you're a solo compliance lead or part of a larger team that includes leadership, staff, and external consultants.

Is Accrediguide a consulting service?

No. Accrediguide does not provide consulting, coaching, or operational advice.

We explain requirements and common verification approaches so your team and advisors can make informed decisions, or work together more effectively.

Can my consultant access our account?

Yes. You can invite consultants with read-only access so they can see your requirements and readiness status. Accrediguide tracks whether evidence exists and where it's located, but does not store your actual documents. Any document sharing happens outside of Accrediguide.

Why is this a monthly subscription?

Compliance expectations change, evidence goes stale, and readiness drifts over time.

Accrediguide stays useful between reviews by providing a consistent structure your team returns to, not a one-time checklist.

What happens if we cancel?

You can cancel at any time. When you cancel, access to Accrediguide features is disabled at the end of your billing period.

Your account remains available so you can manage billing or re-subscribe later. Your data is retained for a limited time but is not accessible unless your subscription is reactivated.

Do you guarantee we'll pass?

No. Accrediguide does not guarantee outcomes of inspections or surveys.

We help you understand expectations and organize your evidence clearly. Final decisions always rest with the authority.

Why don't you charge per user?

Because clarity improves when everyone is included.

Accrediguide is designed for shared understanding across roles, not seat-based access or gated knowledge.

Why is pricing based on authorities?

Each authority introduces different requirements, evidence expectations, and review models. Authority-based pricing reflects the additional structure needed to support accurate readiness. You pay a $99/month base fee plus $100/month for each authority you track.

What authorities do you support?

We currently support California DHCS licensing, plus CARF and Joint Commission accreditation for behavioral health programs. We're expanding to additional authorities deliberately to ensure accuracy.
